Bard

The ask
Google wanted to launch a new, experimental product that allowed people to interact with their large language model “Lamda” to have fun, get useful information and create new things. The goal was to create a high quality, scaleable MVP that would give us an entry into the Gen AI market so that we could build off as we learn more about how people want to utilize the technology - in 4 months.
The strategy
Start with a small team of designers (6) to create the end to end user experience for a brand new interface while improving and expanding the capabilities of our large language models. To achieve this, we created followed the conventional steps of product development, keeping in mind that everything we made would be leaked to the public.
